Throwback to our amazing Amisfield shoot...
Last year I was invited to be part of a premier collaboration at the amazing venue Amisfield House. It is always fun to collaborate with other creatives within the wedding industry, we get a brief and then we can run with it however we like!
Soft blush pinks, greys and metallic rose golds were the order of the day!
This sweet two tier cake combined whimsical white ruffles against a contrasting dark rose gold, handpainted to retain the brush strokes for texture.
Sweet mini cakes piped with buttercream roses in complimentary shades looked amazing against the cool grey slate serving tray...and were enjoyed by everyone who got to take them home at the end of the day!
The main cake...well...I wanted to create a show stopper and I think it achieved that?!
Metallic copper and soft lustred dark rose gold contrasting amazingly against the palest of blush pinks and marbled grey plus *those* wafer paper flowers! Delicate and yet still so big and bold, they are a juxtaposition in themselves and yet just finish the cake perfectly!
The team! And what an amazing team it was!
